Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Delbargram collects, why we use it, and the rights you have. It covers the waitlist website now and the intended app experience.
Delbargram is currently a waitlist website. These policies describe how we handle this site today and how the app is designed to work when accounts, matching, chat, and live features launch. They are not a copy of another company’s terms. A lawyer should review them before a public launch in your country.
1. Data we collect
Waitlist: email address, locale, and the page you joined from (login or register). When accounts launch we expect to collect: profile details (name or display name, age, gender, photos, bio, preferences), approximate location to show distance, messages, live-session metadata, device data, and support emails. We do not require you to link social networks today.
2. Why we use it
To run the waitlist and email you when you can sign up; to create matches and show profiles; to keep the community safe (moderation, abuse detection); to process payments if you buy premium; to understand site performance (only if you accept analytics cookies); and to meet legal duties.
3. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Where GDPR applies we rely on: contract (to provide the service you request), legitimate interests (security, product improvement, preventing fraud), consent (non-essential cookies, some notifications), and legal obligation (e.g. responding to lawful requests).
4. Sharing
We share data with infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery, analytics if enabled), payment processors for purchases, and authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information. Other members see the profile information you choose to publish — not your waitlist email.
5. Location, photos, and messages
Approximate location is used to sort discovery; precise GPS is not required for the waitlist. Photos and messages are private to the service except as needed for moderation or if you share them yourself. Intimate images of others without consent are forbidden and will be removed.
6. Retention
Waitlist emails are kept until you ask to be removed or we shut the list down after launch. Account data is kept while your account is open. After deletion we keep only what we must for security, disputes, or law (typically a limited period).
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your data, and to object to certain uses. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Contact privacy@delbargram.com (or Support) to exercise rights. California residents may have additional rights to know, delete, and opt out of sale/share — we do not sell personal information.
8. International transfers
Servers and vendors may be outside your country. We use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) where required.
9. Children
Delbargram is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children’s data. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
10. Changes
We will post updates here with a new date. If we make a material change to how we use waitlist or account data, we will provide additional notice where required.
